NEGROS OCCIDENTAL REMAINS MPOX- FREE
In light of detected cases of Mpox Clade II in nearby provinces, the Province of Negros Occidental remains Mpox-free according to an advisory signed by Governor Eugenio Jose V. Lacson.
There are no confirmed Mpox cases reported in the province. The public is advised to remain proactive by taking measures to enhance awareness, vigilance, and community preparedness.

Based on the latest weather analysis and rainfall data from selected DOST-PAGASA stations, scattered to widespread rainfall has been observed in the past five days due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). This signifies the onset of the rainy season across the western sections of Luzon and Visayas. However, there may still be breaks in the rainfall that extend over a few days or weeks, referred to as monsoon breaks.
LOOK. In celebration of June as Environment Month, the city government of Bago, thru the City Environment Management Office, lined up activities to highlight the significance of the occasion.

The ceremonial unveiling took place in today's monthly flag-raising ceremony sponsored by the Office of the City Assessor.
