DRRM RECOGNITION. The City Government of Bago has received a recognition from the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council - Negros Island Region (RDRRMC-NIR) during the DRRM Assessment Recognition Ceremony held at the Provincial Capitol’s Social Hall in Bacolod City this morning, April 10.

Mayora Mayette Javellana, along with City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) team headed by Dr. Merijene Ortizo, received the award from RDRRMC Chair and Office of the Civil Defense - NIR Director Donato Sermeno III.

The city was recognized for garnering a rating of 2.77 during the Regional Assessment for Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils and Offices for Calendar Year 2025.

The award also recognizes its unwavering service, commitment, sacrifice and noteworthy accomplishments towards a safer and resilient region.

The city’s Emergency Response Unit also received a plaque of appreciation “in recognition of their service, sacrifice and noteworthy accomplishments towards strengthening DRRM, and for their dedicated efforts in promoting the safety, preparedness, and well-being of their community.”

“Through their leadership, volunteerism and collaborate initiatives, they have contributed meaningfully to fostering a culture of resilience and disaster preparedness across the region,” the plaque reads.

Meanwhile, Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz II was also present during the activity.

1. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with Work Experience Sheet and recent passport-sized or unfiltered digital picture (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2025); digitally signed or electronically signed;

2. Original or Certified true copy and a photocopy of Performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable);

3. Original or Certified true copy and a photocopy of proof of eligibility/rating/license;

4. Original or Certified true copy and a photocopy of Transcript of Records and Diploma;

5. Original or Certified true copy and a photocopy of Certificates of Trainings / Seminars (preferably taken within the last 5 years);

6. Original or Certified true copy and a photocopy of Certificates of Employment / Service Record, if applicable;

7. Original or Certified true copy and a photocopy of Appointments, Approved Resignation / other modes of separation, for those with previous government employment; and

8. Valid National Police and NBI Clearances.
